HIFraser provides pro bono maintenance work to underpin ‘Youth With A Mission’ medical ships initiative in PNG. Since 2014, HIFraser has been delivering equipment and maintenance support for the vacuum sewerage system and toilets onboard YWAM Medical Ships that provide health care and medical training to the remote village communities in Papua New Guinea.
YWAM operates in partnership with the relevant national and provincial government administrations under the auspices of the PNG – Australia Partnership for Development. YWAM Medical Ships take volunteer doctors, nurses and other medical specialists to remote areas of Papua New Guinea to provide basic health services such as immunisations, dentistry and health education to villagers and health workers.
HIFraser has been very fortunate to be able to support this great cause and is determined to do so in future with the latest vacuum technology provided by our longstanding partner EVAC.
